Oikos - Geranium essential oil

Geranium is a perennial, hairy shrub growing up to 1 meter tall. It has small pink flowers. It originates from South Africa and is now widely cultivated in Russia, Egypt, Congo, Japan, Central America, and Europe. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves, stems, and flowers.
 
In aromatherapy, geranium oil is used for acne, bruises, broken capillaries, burns, cuts, eczema, oily skin, mature skin, cellulite, edema, poor circulation, sore throat, PMS, breast swelling, nervousness, nerve pain, and stress-related conditions.
